The Empire may strike again

This is what the Guardian newspaper wrote today:

A British parliamentary foreign affairs committee, visiting Washington last week, encountered sharply different views within the Bush administration. The most hawkish came from Mr Bolton. According to Eric Illsley, a Labour committee member, the envoy told the MPs: "They must know everything is on the table and they must understand what that means. We can hit different points along the line. You only have to take out one part of their nuclear operation to take the whole thing down."

Then you may ask: Why does Israel have the right to possess nuclear weapons, when Iran does not have that right? Isn't that double standards?
This is a dangerous course of action, - if the USA will really choose that. The consequences are not easy to predict. How will China react to aggression against Iran? The reaction throughout the Middle East and other muslim countries may be hard to predict. The West will be at odds with islam in a much harder sense than the one we have witnessed in the cartoons case.

IMHO, the coming nuke hit on Iran has nothing to do with Irans American sponsored , Russian developed atomic enenergy program, and ever so much to do with Irans Euro Oil Borse. Dollar domination of the world is threatened and something that neither Israel, LOndon or Wall Street will tolerate. They have already proved their willingness to bomb Euro based oil traders,,,,, that was exactly why Sadam was whacked, the WMD lie was just the pr coverstory, same as the atomic weapon scam being a reason to Hit Iran.

That is possibly correct. After all, Iran was part of the original "axis of evil", and the country does have plans to start invoicing oil contracts in euros.

On the other hand, even if Iran has 10 per cent of the world's oil reserves and its trade is important for propping up the dollar, the dollar probably could survive as an international reserve currence - for the time being at least. The Chinese also have an interest in keeping the dollar's value, as they have more than 800 bn. dollars in reserves.

And that my friend is the real question. Why do the Chinese continue to finance Murder Inc..? Perhaps it is that 800billion you just mentioned ? Well , one thing for certain, that 800 billion is going to be worth decided less the 23 of March when the FED stops publishing the M3. Another interesting event will be the Chinese reaction when Georgie murders those Chinese workers in Iran. If they are smart, they will all take a spring vacation. Ditto for the Russians working on the reactor. I guess the welcome for those B52´s will have to consist mainly of Iranian school children.
